Lia and her sister, Sofia, were born in July xxxx. Their mom had been pulled from a high kill rural county shelter just in the nick of time and it was discovered soon after that the young cat was pregnant. The pregnancy was a difficult one and Lia and Sofia were delivered by C-section. Mom and kittens were lovingly cared for by their foster mom and, when Lia and Sofia were five months old, they were accepted into our care. Both have easily adapted to their new environment here at ACS and they fit right in with the other cats after a short 'getting to know you' period. Lia LOVES toys and you'll just about always finding her either batting a ball across the room or "stalking" a catnip mouse when you visit her room. This active little feline is sure to keep her new owners entertained, that's for sure! To find out if Lia would be a good fit for you and your household, just stop by the shelter and ask to meet her.
